Dear School of Public Health and Health Sciences Students,
Welcome to a new and promising semester at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ! Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to continue your journey, the faculty and I are excited to embark on this academic adventure with you. Our goal is to make your experience here as enriching and impactful as possible.
In these challenging times, we have a unique opportunity to unite and support one another. Together, we can navigate obstacles, celebrate achievements, and work towards realizing your dreams. The faculty and staff of the School of Public Health and Health Sciences are dedicated to your success, both during your time at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ and as you step into your future careers. We encourage you to engage actively with your instructors, both in and outside of the classroom. Do not hesitate to visit us during office hours or reach out when you need support. Remember, we are here to help you through challenges and to celebrate your successes.
Beyond academics, there are countless ways to enrich your college experience and expand your horizons. We invite you to dive into campus life and explore opportunities within our School, the College of Health, Human Services & Nursing, and ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ as a whole. Engage with the various activities we offer, such as the Public Health Toros Association, the Senior Living Management Club, the Global Health Speaker Series, the Study Abroad Program, and the Alpha Eta National Honor Society. Be sure to attend our "Meet and Greet" event at the beginning of the semester to connect with fellow students and hear inspiring stories from our alumni. And don’t miss the Job Expo in the spring, where you can connect with potential employers in your field. These experiences will bring your education to life and open doors to new opportunities.
