Doron Zinger Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Graduate Education Department in the College of Education at CSU Dominguez Hills. Joining ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ is a homecoming for Doron who earned his California administrative credential at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ as part of the first CASLA cohort. He has previously taught in the CASLA program and in teacher education courses at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ. Prior to coming to ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ Doron was the director of the UC Irvine CalTeach program where he helped prepare social justice focused teachers as part of an undergraduate credentialing program. Doron earned his Ph.D. in education from UCI with a focus on teacher learning, especially in STEM. Prior to that he was a school administrator in Santa Ana and Coachella, and a high school science teacher in Santa Ana. His research interests focus on justice focused educator preparation attending to systems and individuals. Doron is excited to join the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ CoE team to continue to work with aspiring educators, in this case aspiring principals as part of the School Leadership Program, and conduct research on the preparation of diverse justice focused administrators.
