First Year Student Orientation

The First-Year Student Orientation program is committed to ensuring that the incoming class of students will receive an onboarding experience that prepares them for their first term as new Toro. To be successful in any college setting, you need to understand not only the academics, but the resources, support, and involvement opportunities ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ has to offer.Ìý

TheÌýSummerÌý2026ÌýFirst-Year Student OrientationÌýProgram is aÌýTWO-DAYÌýprogram heldÌýon campus.ÌýDeadline to register for Orientation is June 1, 2026.Ìý

  • Day OneÌýsessionÌýprovides students with an overview of campus resources, financial aid, student life, and what it means to be part of the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ community. Day One sessions are held from 9am to 12:30pmÌýinÌýJune.ÌýAttendance at Day One is required in order to participate in Day Two Orientation.Ìý
  • Day Two session, academic advising and registration meetings will take place throughout the months of June and July, where students will have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor and make course selections for Summer School and the upcoming fall semester. Sessions are coordinated by the academic college's Student Success Center. Students will receive a separate communication from their designated Success Center after their attendance in the Day One Orientation.Ìý
