Advanced Safety & Health Certificate Program Overview

Advanced Safety & Health Certificate

The Advanced Safety and Health Certificate Program is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety and health principles, standards, and regulations. The program equips individuals with the skills needed to recognize workplace hazards, understand regulatory requirements, and contribute to the development of safer work environments.

This certificate demonstrates to current and prospective employers that participants have acquired specialized knowledge in occupational safety and health. Earning the certificate reflects a commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and professional growth in the field.

The program offers two specialized tracks:

  • Construction Track – Focuses on occupational safety and health requirements specific to the construction industry, including hazard recognition, prevention, and OSHA compliance.
  • General Industry Track – Covers safety and health standards applicable to a wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, and other general industry sectors.

The program provides an in-depth examination of OSHA standards and regulatory requirements. Through expert-led instruction, participants gain a practical understanding of OSHA regulations and learn how to apply them in real-world workplace settings. Courses are taught by experienced instructors who provide current information on the latest OSHA standards, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.

Upon successful completion, participants will possess the knowledge and confidence to support current safety initiatives, identify and mitigate hazards, and demonstrate a strong foundation in occupational safety and health practices.

In addition, students earn both a certificate of completion and a shareable digital badge to showcase new safety credentials to current and potential employers.

Who Should Attend

Open to all learners regardless of professional background, the Advanced Safety and Health Certificate Program is particularly beneficial for individuals with prior work experience who are looking to expand their knowledge of occupational safety and health.

The program is ideal for:

Advanced Safety & Health Certificate Program Description

The Advanced Safety and Health Certificate is designed for individuals looking to enter the field of occupational safety and health and for whom a professional certificate contributes to career advancement and professional recognition.
